AMURTEL Volunteer Application Form

Due to growing economic difficulties, we are now forced to request from all volunteers a fee of US$400 for short-term volunteers (2-3 months) and $700 for long-term volunteers. (except the medical projects. Please see http://www.abhalight.org). This fee will go directly to the support of the project. You will be responsible for all your expenses -- food, travel, medical, etc -- during your stay.

If there is any reason why you can't manage the fee yet feel you will be an asset to the project, please fill up the application. No doors are absolutely closed.

In all cases you'd be working with the Project Manager. There would probably be no other foreigners around, there is no group of volunteers at these projects. We usually take in only one volunteer at a time. In all cases you'd be staying at the project itself. You'd have a place to sleep and humble, local, vegetarian food to eat.
